Arrowwood Drive has a suburban feel in East Point
Arrowwood Drive, a small neighborhood with less than 200 homes, is tucked in a quiet location just south of Atlanta. “The neighborhood is great for people who want suburban-style living while being close to the city,” says Realtor James Fuller of Epique Realty’s Loving Atlanta Life Team, who has been selling homes around the city for seven years. “The charm in my mind is having a suburban oasis near Atlanta.” While it is secluded from city noise, the neighborhood is a short drive from the Atlanta Beltline Westside Trail in East Point and downtown Atlanta is easily accessible on nearby roads.
Arrowwood Drive residents can enjoy the new expansion of Atlanta's Beltline to the West side.
Arrowwood Drive is a close-knit neighborhood with fewer than 200 homes, fostering a strong sense of community.

Midcentury ranch-style homes in Arrowwood Drive are on large lots surrounded by pine trees
Midcentury modern ranch-style brick houses sell for $250,000 to $300,000. They typically have three to four bedrooms and up to 2,400 square feet. “I geek out on midcentury-style ranches. You can get them at a cost that’s not overpriced, and there’s more than enough space for families to live in them,” Fuller says. The houses sit far back off the road, often at the top or bottom of small hills, on lots that can exceed a half-acre. Dwellings are full of towering southern pine trees, which fill the spacious yards with leaves during the fall months. Arrowwood Drive’s homes do not go on the market often, as there were only two sales in 2024.
Arrowwood Drive is known for its midcentury ranch-style homes, many of which retain their original architectural charm.

Getting to Atlanta on or off the interstate
The neighborhood is between Interstate 285, 1 mile away, and Interstate 85, 4 miles away. Both I-85 and Whitehall Street take drivers into downtown Atlanta. “You can take the interstate to get to the city or you can skip it,” Fuller says. “Within 10 to 15 minutes, you can get from East Point to a Falcons game or Hawks game, or Midtown, which is our entertainment capital.” The Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority’s East Point subway station, 3 miles east, also travels into the city. The Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport is 4 miles away and Wellstar East Point Health Center is 12 miles north.
Art and nature blend on the Atlanta Beltline Westside Trail
The Atlanta Beltline Westside Trail, which is 7 miles to the north, winds along old railroad tracks with a lush green canopy. The trail, which will eventually connect the entire metro area, is full of murals, such as one depicting Dave Chapelle serving a plate of pancakes dressed as Prince. “It’s really peaceful,” Fuller says. “There’s a lot of natural vegetation mixed in with art installments. They blended a residential walking path where you can see your neighbors and a coffee shop here or a new restaurant there.”
Arrowwood Drive residents can enjoy the seamless transition between the Westside Beltline and businesses along Lee+White.
