Cherry Blossom is an established community west of downtown
Cherry Blossom is a wooded suburb in East Point, part of the tri-city area alongside Hapeville and College Park. "East Point is a city within a city. It's entirely inside the perimeter, the interstate beltway around Atlanta," says longtime Atlanta native Jon Huff, a Realtor with the Jon and Randy Team, Keller Williams Realty Metro Atlanta. "The neighborhood feels more established. It's not as walkable as downtown, but it has well-maintained homes from the 1950s and 1960s, creating a strong community feel. It's a nice area for walking dogs and enjoying a quieter lifestyle outside the city's hustle."Cherry Blossom is accessible to everything the area offers, from two schools within the A-rated Fulton County School District, to a spacious park a short walk away. Downtown East Point is a few minutes down the road, and with a MARTA station nearby, getting into downtown Atlanta is convenient. The neighborhood's location near Interstate 285 makes commuting easy, and Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport is only about 4 miles away.

Chairs Upstairs Bar is a restaurant and arcade adorned with mini chairs on the walls and a wooden chair perched on the awning outside. Big Daddy's Kitchen on Campbellton Road Southwest has served Southern comfort food since 1996.
