Schools and entertainment are close in Americas
Located on the eastern end of El Paso, the Americas neighborhood gives homebuyers direct access to single-family homes while being close to local schools. Single-family dwellings on gridded streets surround the schools, with residences on streets named after famous artists. Properties are smaller, with grass, tile or stone lawns along with decorative spruce, and palm trees accenting front yards. Several homes also have backyard pools. “I grew up there from 2006 to around 2010 in that specific neighborhood; it’s a pretty safe neighborhood and it’s pretty close to all the other major commercial (locations) on North Zaragoza Road,” says Fernando Sanchez, a Realtor with El Paso Team Results who also attended Americas High School.
The Americas neighborhood sits on El Paso's east side.
The Americas offers many home styles to choose from.

Homes range between $250,000 and $450,000, and include mission styles, Spanish revivals, and New Traditionals. Properties tend to spend around 16 days on the market, shorter than the national average of 74 days. The community has no homeowners’ association.
Sanchez says the area has increasing commercial development, as stores and entertainment construction are ongoing at the corner of Pellicano Drive and Texas State Highway 375. The community does not have much severe weather besides the heat, but rare hailstorms have affected the neighborhood in the past. Sanchez notes the large logistics hubs nearby serve as employers for the area.
