Borderland has single-family homes near the Franklin Mountains
Situated between the Rio Grande River and Interstate 10, the Borderland neighborhood of El Paso gives residents views of the nearby Franklin Mountains while being close to local shopping, dining and schools. Borderland used to be vacant land but now consists primarily of single-story homes on smaller lots. Most homes skip grass lawns in favor of stone features or tile. Two-story homes with garages and larger lots can also be found in the northeastern corner of the community. “It’s definitely good for first-time homebuyers, but it’s also good for more established buyers,” says Anahi Banuelos, real estate advisor at RE/MAX Associates of El Paso. “It’s a really good area, I like it.”
