Northeastern El Paso enclave at the foothills of the Franklin Mountains
El Paso’s Castner Heights neighborhood sits along the foothills of the Franklin Mountains, offering 1980s-built homes with modern amenities. The neighborhood sits on the city’s northeastern side, close to Fort Bliss and El Paso International Airport, and has quick ways to travel downtown and around the city. “In my personal opinion, it’s one of the best neighborhoods in the northeast,” says Jason Sisk, a Realtor with Century 21 Haggerty and resident of Castner Heights. “It’s quiet, clean and safe. I’d say those are my favorite things about it… El Paso is a pretty safe city, being the size that it is, so we don’t see crime or broken windows or anything like that.” Quiet suburbia appeals to many residents looking to live in this area, as well as its proximity to many of El Paso's best natural amenities.
