Traveling the tree-lined streets of Texas
Buyers can primarily find traditional midcentury ranch-style homes ranging from roughly $100,000 to $400,000, depending on square footage. “You can find starter homes from 1,200 to 1,300 square feet, depending on the condition, in the low $100,000s to $200,000s, and bigger homes around 2,500 square feet starting around $350,000,” Clark says. “There are a lot of older homes built back in the ‘60s, and people are coming in and fixing them up, so there’s lots of great housing opportunities here.” As one of El Paso’s more established neighborhoods, many properties, particularly those with larger yards, have mature Afghan pines and palm trees. Residents can enjoy the expansive sidewalk system that lines virtually every street here, allowing for easy and safe walks.Educating Eastwood youth

Album Park, known as Eastwood Park among locals, is the neighborhood’s largest park, offering expansive, open green space for soccer and football, as well as a skate park, a dog park with an agility course and courts for tennis and basketball. There are plenty of mature trees to provide shade to residents on the walking trails, playground and picnic areas, and the retention pond fills up and turns into a lake after heavy rain. The Gary Del Palacio Recreation Center is also on-site at Eastwood Park, with indoor basketball, pickleball, volleyball and racquetball courts, as well as a dance studio, a weight room and a large, multipurpose gym.Eastwood Heights residents can also enjoy the local Palm Grove, Suffolk, and Cork Parks, offering open green fields, playgrounds, and picnic areas.
