Vista Hills East is conveniently located, especially for frequent flyers

The Vista Hills East community offers HOA-free living minutes from schools, retail and restaurants in East El Paso. The neighborhood doesn’t get much through-traffic, but it is in the flight path of El Paso International Airport, less than 10 miles away. Aside from the occasional droning of planes overhead, the neighborhood’s sidewalk-lined streets are quiet. Hardscaped front yards feature manicured gravel gardens with Italian spruces, which thrive in El Paso’s arid climate.

HOA-free Spanish eclectic and New Traditional houses

Sales data in Vista Hills East is limited because homes rarely come on the market. When they do, prices range from almost $200,000 to the mid $300,000s. “People are always attracted to not having an HOA,” says lifetime local Denise Weber, a Keller Williams Realtor. “Honestly, we don’t have many in El Paso.” The neighborhood features a mix of contemporary single-family homes, most built in the 1980s and 1990s. New Traditional brick houses and stucco-sided Spanish eclectic homes are popular, as are single- and two-story floor plans. Sought-after pueblo-style residences are also around the neighborhood.
