Elgin Station, 8 miles away, runs Metra trains via the Milwaukee District-West line to Chicago Union Station six days a week. Elgin is also where residents find healthcare centers, with Ascension Saint Joseph – Elgin 6 miles away and other medical facilities lining South Randall Road. Chicago O'Hare International Airport is 34 miles away.
