The Vista Ridge Homeowners Association maintains a community pool, tennis courts and a clubhouse complete with a fitness center. “The community center is one of the big draws to the area,” says Fowler, “and the pool is a hit in the summer. Locals like the privacy of the residents-only amenities.” Most of the area’s subdivisions have a small park with a playground and picnic tables. The 10-acre Columbine Mine Park has pickleball courts, a baseball diamond and a walking trail.

Erie High's Academy of Engineering and Aerospace
