The township hosts seasonal events at the Harborcreek Municipal Building. Halloween brings HarborCreep Nights to the community, a weekend-long celebration featuring a haunted house, local food trucks and live music. With U.S. Route 20 bisecting Northwest Harborcreek, residents are just a 5-mile drive from downtown Erie and a 13-mile drive from the Erie International Airport. The highway also provides access to major thoroughfares such as Interstate 90. The Erie Metropolitan Transit Authority, abbreviated as the EMTA and known locally as “the e,” provides bus service to the community, covering destinations that include downtown Erie.
