Golf community in northern Evansville
Located north of the Ohio River, Evansville is known for its small-town feel and convenient location along the Indiana-Kentucky border. Cambridge Village, a suburb of north Evansville, greets residents with scenic views of the Cambridge Golf Course. While Evansville is known for its affordability, homes on the northside are priced competitively due to ongoing new construction. “The northside is growing immensely with a lot of new neighborhoods,” says Kara Hinshaw, Broker at Key Associates Signature Realty. “Cambridge is a very sought-after golfing community with its own clubhouse and grill.” Adding to the neighborhood's appeal is its suburban lifestyle, A-rated school district and thriving outdoor scene. Local landmarks like The Log Inn—the oldest restaurant in Indiana—and events like the Vanderburgh County Fair contribute to Cambridge Village's long-standing sense of community. And for those who commute, Route 41 to the west and U.S. Interstate 64 will get folks to downtown Evansville within a 15-mile or a 30-minute drive.

New Craftsman and multi-family townhouses
The real estate market in Cambridge Village is fierce due to limited inventory, especially for lots with views of the Cambridge Golf Course, and new construction options. “We are seeing bid wars in certain price ranges, so its still a great time to sell in our area,” says Kendra Bisesi, Realtor with Angel Team Realty. “The north side of Evansville really seems to be booming with new construction.” With a median sales price of $450,000, homes are priced at $300,000 higher than the average property in the greater Evansville Metro Area. The average year of construction is 2006, resulting in designs ranging from Colonial Revivals and Craftsmans to traditional ramblers. Price points here range from the low $300,000s for a three-bedroom rambler to upwards of $900,000 for a five-bedroom newly constructed Craftsman. While the area is dominated by single-family options, multi-family townhouses are also available along Shooters Hill Court, and range in price from $300,000 to $400,000. Homes here often feature multi-car garages and are fronted by mid-sized lawns. Winding streets with paved sidewalks connect residents to neighbors in this idyllic community.
