Cambridge Village
New Craftsman and multi-family townhouses
The real estate market in Cambridge Village is fierce due to limited inventory, especially for lots with views of the Cambridge Golf Course, and new construction options. “We are seeing bid wars in certain price ranges, so its still a great time to sell in our area,” says Kendra Bisesi, Realtor with Angel Team Realty. “The north side of Evansville really seems to be booming with new construction.” With a median sales price of $450,000, homes are priced at $300,000 higher than the average property in the greater Evansville Metro Area. The average year of construction is 2006, resulting in designs ranging from Colonial Revivals and Craftsmans to traditional ramblers. Price points here range from the low $300,000s for a three-bedroom rambler to upwards of $900,000 for a five-bedroom newly constructed Craftsman. While the area is dominated by single-family options, multi-family townhouses are also available along Shooters Hill Court, and range in price from $300,000 to $400,000. Homes here often feature multi-car garages and are fronted by mid-sized lawns. Winding streets with paved sidewalks connect residents to neighbors in this idyllic community.Tee-up at Cambridge Golf Course
Stretching across 170 acres of greenery, the public Cambridge Golf Course is within walking distance of Cambridge Village. The course features an 18-hole layout and on-site dining at the Cambridge Grill. Nearby, campers park their RVs at Weather Rock Campground, which offers overnight or long-term options. The campground also features a miniature golf course, horseshoes and a pond for catch-and-release fishing. Many residents head 9 miles southeast of Cambridge Village to the Blue Grass Fish & Wildlife Area for a day in the woods. Featuring more than 2,500 acres of lake access, open greenery and marshlands, it's a popular spot for both hunting and fishing. While the area prohibits swimming, there are boat ramps for launching paddle boats, kayaks and canoes out onto the water. The annual Vanderburgh County Fair
In July, neighbors gather at the Fairgrounds for the annual Vanderburgh County Fair, where they'll enjoy a variety of entertainment options ranging from carnival rides and local food trucks to tractor pulls, livestock auctions and musical performances. This week-long event has been a community tradition since 1920.A-rated education at Evansville Vanderburgh Schools
