It has a neighborly attitude and beautiful historic homes." In addition to its charming home styles, Greater Lincolnshire maintains its local feel through gatherings at Triangle Park and events like the annual Front Porch Festival, which attracts visitors from across the city each year. Commuters here benefit from a quick 7-minute drive to and from downtown, with easy access to both U.S. Highway 41 and Lincoln Avenue. Cape Cods and Tudor Revivals

The real estate market in Greater Lincolnshire is competitive due to its proximity to Highway 41 and its lot sizes, which are larger than the national average. “Greater Lincolnshire has been very active over the past few years,” says Keck, who has been selling in Evansville for over 27 years. “It accommodates a variety of buyers with a range of styles, sizes, and conditions.” Many homes were constructed in the 1920s, and styles range from Cape Cods and bungalows to Colonial- or Tudor- Revivals. With a median sales price of $200,000, homes here are $100,000 more expensive than the average home within the Evansville Metro Area. For example, prices range from the low $100,000s for a two-bedroom bungalow, to upwards of $400,000 for a four-bedroom Colonial Revival. Houses here also often feature detached garages, mid-sized lawns and backyard fencing for an added sense of privacy. Streets are highly walkable with paved sidewalks for easy access to and from spots like Benjamin Bosse High School on the south side of the community.
