"The neighbors are pretty friendly. People are always out walking their dogs and kids playing together," says Ashley Bolden, a real estate agent with Keller Williams Realty Everett and a North Everett resident. "Riverside is kind of like its own small town."
In this competitive housing market, Riverside has well-established homes with lots of historic character. Craftsman-style homes with deep porches and Victorians with ornate windows and storybook-like exteriors are featured heavily throughout the area. Garfield Park is a massive draw to the area, offering activities for visitors of all ages. At North Middle School, with an overall B rating from Niche, students can choose from various after-school activities like drama, jazz, football and softball. At the B-rated Everett High School, there are over 30 student body clubs, including the gaming club, bibliophile club, improv club and knowledge bowl.
Locals can access Downtown Everett through Broadway, the main artery that borders the neighborhood's western edge. To get into downtown Seattle, residents can take Interstate 5 and be in the city in roughly 30 miles.
