Residents grab hearty breakfasts at Dom’s Diner, a classic local spot, or swing by fast-casual favorites like Burger King and Church’s Chicken when they want something quick. Residents can head to the Genesee Valley Center, set about 5 miles from Mannhall Park, for shopping at over 125 stores like JCPenney, Macy’s and Barnes & Noble.
The Mass Transportation Authority (MTA) Flint buses run along Court Street and link the neighborhood to downtown Flint, while nearby Interstate 75 makes it easy to drive roughly 70 miles south to Detroit. Flint Bishop International Airport sits on the city’s southwest side, and McLaren Flint hospital is conveniently less than a mile away for medical needs.
According to CAP Index, the neighborhood carries a crime rating of 6 out of 10, compared with a national average score of about 4, which points to a higher-than-typical level of criminal activity.
