Private, gated community with spacious estates on the north shore of Lake Grapevine
Located on the North Shore of Lake Grapevine, Point Noble is a private, gated community with easy access to everything Flower Mound offers. After passing through the gates of this luxury neighborhood, homebuyers immediately see large estates that sneak out from behind their tree cover. Many of these estates are accompanied by views of the lake. “You get privacy, generous estate-sized lots, the distance between neighbors,” Michael Hershenberg, a Realtor with the Heisenberg Group, says. “This is for people that want a lot of privacy. If you’re a CEO, athlete, or executive, this will provide what other neighborhoods don’t.” Residents of Point Noble, when not taking in views of the lake, enjoy utilizing the outdoor space at Twin Coves Park and Rockledge Park, both of which have trails. “There are lots of biking and hiking opportunities,” Christy Arnold, a Realtor with Keller Williams Realty, says. “It’s a great quality of life.” Children in Point Noble benefit from attending the Lewisville Independent School District, which earns an A grade from Niche.
Sprawling estates built between 1996 and 2004
As residents enter Point Noble through the community's gates and drive down the well-maintained, concrete streets, they’ll see sprawling estates peek out from the tree cover. These estates were custom-built and come in various styles with some boasting views of Lake Grapevine. “These homes were built between 1996 and 2004 and some are now being renovated,” Arnold says. “The average square footage in Point Noble is 6,500 square feet.” These spacious estates have sold for between $2 million and $2.9 million and all sit on an acre more of land. “The market is very strong, and inventory is very low,” Hershenberg says. Residents here pay HOA fees to live in the neighborhood.
Hike, bike or enjoy the lake at Twin Coves Park and Rockledge Park
Residents of Point Noble are close to a plethora of outdoor recreational options. Twin Coves Park has furnished cabins and RV slips, making it a popular choice for camping. The park also has a playground for kids, a trail for hiking and biking and a four-hole disc golf course. Those with a boat can launch it there and enjoy Lake Grapevine. For a day filled with lake views, locals head to Rockledge Park, where they can bike on the Northshore Trail or enjoy a picnic at one of the pavilions overlooking the water. The park also offers kayak rentals and allows fishing for those looking for their next catch. At Post Oak Park, locals can utilize the playground or walk on a trail.
Town of Flower Mound community events
While Point Noble has no neighborhood events throughout the year, the Town of Flower Mound does. Every Friday during the summer, the town puts on a Concerts in the Park series, which includes local live music acts and is free for residents. Those who want to show their artistic ability can do so at the town’s Chalk the Walk Art Contest. Participants are assigned a concrete square at Heritage Park to make their own. Prizes are awarded to the winners of each age group. In July, residents enjoy Bakersfield Park, where the town has its annual Independence Day fest, which includes live music, food, kids activities and much more before the fireworks show later in the evening.
From Mexican at Anamia’s Tex-Mex to burgers and drinks at The Tavern at Lakeside
“Anamia’s is the Flower Mound go-to place for Mexican food,” Arnold says. Anamia’s Tex-Mex has a wide selection of Mexican food, from fajitas to tacos and margaritas to pair. “The new, most popular spot is Lakeside Village,” Arnold says. “1845 is a great happy hour spot there.” 1845 Taste Texas is a steakhouse offering Texas comfort food and seafood. “They have one of the best steaks in the area,” Hershenberg says. The Tavern at Lakeside is a popular spot for residents to catch a Cowboys or Mavericks game with a full-service bar and various burgers and other American favorites. There is a Walmart Neighborhood Market off Flower Mound Road and a pair of Kroger’s for everyday essentials shopping.
