There are over 50 school-sponsored clubs at Rocky Mountain High, with topics ranging from sign language and forensics to fashion and pottery. Students can earn dual enrollment credits by taking courses with Front Range Community College or AIMS Community College.

When traveling out of the city, drivers can take Interstate 25 north or south to nearby cities like Denver and Cheyenne, Wyoming. Transfort has bus stops along West Prospect Road and South Taft Hill Road. Foothills Green is a bikeable community and earns a Bike Score of 82 out of 100. Downtown Fort Collins is 3 miles northeast of the neighborhood, accessible via Shields Street and Laporte Avenue.
