Crown Colony is a primarily residential neighborhood with retail plazas along main roads bordering the community. Homes circle ponds and lakes, with golf courses at the center like small islands dotted throughout the waterscape. The streets are broad, leading into swirling roads and cul-de-sacs. Houses here sit atop manicured lawns, often populated with lush gardens and intricate landscaping. Though there are no sidewalks, residents typically get around by car. Many homes come with long, winding driveways and multi-car garages. Residents live in villas, Colonial Revivals and single-family contemporary-style homes, some with a Spanish Mission influence. Prices range from $340,000 to $500,000 for homes with 1,500 square feet or less, with the average sale price falling around $440,000. The Lee County Public School District serves the residents of Crown Colony. Students can begin their education at Rayma C. Page Elementary School and Cypress Lake Middle School, which ranked No. 5 in Best Public Middle Schools and Best Public Elementary Schools in Lee County while earning an A-minus and B-plus on Niche, respectively. Students can finish their education at Fort Myers High School, which scored an A-plus on Niche. Fort Myers High also offers an international baccalaureate program.

Residents enjoy a calendar full of monthly and yearly events- golfing events, monthly party-by-the-pool events, garden club meetings, restaurant crawls, group outings to local dinner theater, tennis socials, an annual community art show and an annual community barbeque. “We do major events throughout the year,” says Hahn. “We’ve got a major golf tournament fundraiser— Play for PINK for breast cancer. It’s been running nonstop since 2007.”

Transit available for travel in and out of Crown Colony
Though most residents use a car to get around, public transportation is available through several bus stops along Summerlin Road. For long-distance travel, locals can head to Southwest Florida International Airport, 14 miles east of Crown Colony.Grab meals at local and chain restaurants, with groceries nearby
For groceries, residents can stop by the local Publix Supermarket at Summerlin Crossings. For clothing, locals can stop by Hollie's Boutique.
