Stop Six
From cottages and ranch-style to new-build craftsman homes
Stop Six features a broad mix of older and newer homes. Most of the older houses in the neighborhood are cottages or ranch-style homes with traditional brick or wood siding. The older homes often have driveways, but built-in garages are rare. Newer houses in the area tend to be Craftsman homes with spacious front porches for gathering with friends and family. These more recently built homes often have built-in garages. Mature trees line the streets, offering shade over the neighborhood. Sidewalks provide walkability for residents. As Polyak said, Stop Six is affordable for homebuyers compared to other neighborhoods in eastern Fort Worth. Older cottages and ranch-style homes sell for between $90,000 and $250,000, while newer craftsman homes have sold for between $190,000 and $420,000. Stop Six has a crime score of 7 out of 10, significantly higher than the national average.
