Hot spot for high-tech careers, highly-rated schools and East Bay beauty
The central location of the Fremont neighborhood of Ardenwood makes it a popular spot for those who want to put down roots near big Bay Area employers. High-tech heavy hitters like Meta are nine miles away across the Dumbarton Bridge. San Francisco and San Jose are in commuting distance. And natural beauty surrounds Ardenwood in the marshland parks, scenic lakes, and East hills. “It’s a great location. Facebook is right across the bridge. Forest Park Elementary is popular with young families. And a lot of families have come just for the community sense,” says Omar Murillo, a Bay area native and top-producing Realtor. “It’s one of the top three neighborhoods in Fremont for those reasons.”
