Farmland and open meadows in Mack
Mack is surrounded by prairies and hilly countryside homesteads. This rural community comes to life for Country Jam, a four-day festival in July drawing over 100,000 country music fans to a field below the mountains dressed in their best western wear. With abundant acreage and hiking trails through canyon ravines, Mack is a pastoral paradise in the town of Loma just 22 miles west of Downtown Grand Junction. "Most of the Loma-Mack area is agricultural," says Michelle Renstrom, who grew up in Grand Junction and works as a real estate agent at Studt Realty. "It's people with animals in communities without HOAs. It's a quiet little place in a wonderful valley."
Nestled in the Grand Valley, Mack offers a tranquil escape in Western Colorado.
The Mack area has access to many nearby trails including the Rabit's Ear Trailhead.
