Elementary students can attend either C.W. Norton Elementary or Glen Springs Elementary. The schools have B and B-minus grades, respectively, from Niche. Springtree Park is a neighborhood space between homes and the Creekside Community Church. The grounds contain exercise equipment and a playground that was updated in 2020. Locals in the area have access to a number of nearby green spaces, including four within a 3-mile radius of Springtree. "The county really wants to make sure we have conservation areas and nice parks,” says Lyon. “They really want to keep this area green and nice for families walking their dogs and people on bikes."

Within 5 miles of grocery stores and margaritas
The community sits less than 3 miles between two Publix locations, one on 13th Street and another on NW 43rd Street. Walmart Supercenter also stands a few miles from the neighborhood. State Road 121 and NW 39th Avenue lead to more retail plazas with dining options like Las Margaritas and Country Foodly. On Saturdays, local vendors gather at the Alachua County Farmers' Market to sell fresh produce and baked goods.

Downtown events at Bo Diddley Plaza
Downtown Gainesville, about 6 miles away, is a hotspot for festivals and concerts year-round. First Friday, a recurring live music series, occurs from April to September at Bo Diddley Plaza. Additionally, the park hosts the Downtown Festival & Art Show, a two-day event celebrating performance, literary and culinary arts in North Florida. These events have been a part of downtown for years and are free to the public.
