Parks

Over five neighborhood parks are dotted throughout Montclair, and residents are always close to peaceful picnics or morning walks among the greenery. At Armstrong Park and Dorfman Park, kids in the neighborhood can hang out on the playground while not being too far from home. Meadowcreek Branch Park pocket park has been completely renovated with a wooden play set for neighborhood kids to enjoy. “We have passed 5 measures, which have called for a masterplan to develop all of our parks, making them accessible and renovating,” says Patrick Abell, a 26-year-long resident of Garland and Realtor with United Real Estate for 8 years. Bass Park is where residents can bike, call and bring their dogs along the forested Duck Tree Trail.
