Tranquil bedroom community close to community amenities and major freeways
Churchill is a quiet suburban neighborhood on the outskirts of Girard. The name of the wider city was taken from a French-American philanthropist who founded Girard College in Philadelphia. “There aren’t a whole lot of businesses, but Churchill is a pretty solid bedroom community for people who work in nearby cities,” says Century 21 Realtor William Broxson, who was born and raised in Trumbull County and has sold over six million dollars’ worth of real estate in the area. Homes are well-maintained and just a short drive from parks, schools and major roadways.
Amenities are easily accessible to residents of Churchill.

Minutes to the I-80 interchange and other essentials
Wide suburban streets allow cyclists to traverse the neighborhood, and a handful of public transit stops offer routes around the area. However, most residents depend on cars and trucks to get around Churchill. Thankfully, freeways like the I-80 and Ohio State Highway 11 interchange run through the neighborhood, providing locals with routes to Youngstown, five miles to the south, and to Warren, 12 miles to the northwest. The Youngstown-Warren Regional Airport is seven miles north along Ohio State Highway 193, and the St. Joseph Warren Hospital is 10 miles to the northwest just outside of Warren.
