Eagle Ridge's location provides easy access to major highways such as U.S. Highway 6 and Interstate 70. Residents can reach downtown Denver in about 20 to 30 minutes by car, depending on traffic. The RTD light rail's Jefferson County Government Center–Golden Station is nearby, offering public transportation to Denver and other destinations. Denver International Airport is 35 miles east, accessible via Interstate 70. The Coors brewery is another popular destination in town. “There’s plenty of options in Golden, so you don’t really ever feel the need to fight traffic or go out of your way to Denver,” says Strobel. “That’s always a nice option, but you have what you need close to home.”
