Secluded Snohomish County neighborhood with a lake
Lake Bosworth is a rural community in Snohomish County, located about 4 miles outside Granite Falls. Despite the lake’s smaller size compared to others in the county, it maintains a peaceful atmosphere with secluded lakefront properties. The area is mostly undeveloped, with thick forests central to much of the neighborhood. “It’s not as sought-after, but it’s great for people who want that lake life but don’t want the crowds,” says Realtor Pete Keating with John L Scott Real Estate, who has over 15 years of experience and specializes in Snohomish County.
Recreation on the water and in the woods
Lake Bosworth has a public boat launch for non-motorized boats at its northern end, used frequently by kayakers and paddleboarders. "We call it a pond lake because it’s smaller," Keating says. "You can’t get big boats out there, so it’s mostly for fishing."Directly north of Lake Bosworth is the O’Reilly Acres County Park Reserve. The 92-acre park has multiple hiking trails, plus fishing along the Pilchuck River. There’s also a campground with sites for both RVs and tents. A playground area is accompanied by picnic tables and a disc golf course. Additionally, Mount Pilchuck State Park is roughly 23 miles east in the Cascade Mountains. A hiking trail that doubles as a snowshoeing trail in the winter winds through forests and beds of rocks to a historic fire lookout at the summit. The trailhead has a camping and picnic area.
Lake Bosworth has plenty of outdoor activities including fishing, boating, and more.
