Spotting wildlife in and around Price Park

Although Friendly Lake and the neighborhood ponds do not allow public access, residents can head to nearby Price Park for outdoor recreation. Price Park's primary feature is a walking path that loops through a dense patch of woods, where deer, birds and other wildlife roam. The Price Park Butterfly Garden is on the grounds of the Kathleen Clay Edwards Family Branch of the Greensboro Public Library; spring and summer are peak times for spotting butterflies and taking photos. Inside the library, patrons can access the internet on any of its 25 Microsoft Office-equipped computers, and younger children can attend storytimes to hear their favorite books come to life. When it comes to indoor recreation, residents can work out at ISI Elite Training while kids bounce off excess energy at Sky Zone Trampoline Park.
