Westwood is within a half mile of Westridge Square to satisfy the shopping needs of its residents. Fully stocked lake and miles of trails

Country Park is conveniently located within a mile of the neighborhood. Operated by the City of Greensboro, Country Park is one of the largest public parks in the city. The outdoor playground features an array of amenities sure to make for a jam-packed day of excursions. At the park's heart are two fully stocked fishing lakes with provided piers. Visitors can ride on the pedal boats, known for their creative dragon, duck and geese designs, for more fun on the water. Avoid the water entirely and take the kids over to have a spin on the carousel or bring a bike and explore over 13 miles of nature trails that meander throughout the park.

Tennis centers and stadiums

Tennis enthusiasts take their racquets to the Spencer Love Tennis Center, managed by the Greensboro Tennis Program. They offer junior and adult-level programs and often have tournaments hosted at the center featuring participants from across the city. Next to the tennis center is Jaycee Park, home to Stoner-White Stadium. The baseball stadium is a prominent host for youth baseball games in Greensboro.
