As far as dining, Bree's Deli is a sandwich shop serving everything from Italian grinders to meatball heroes and chicken salad subs. Smithfield Municipal Ice Rink is also available for indoor activities during rainy days.

U.S. Route 44 runs east-west through Greenville, meaning residents are only a 12-mile drive to downtown Providence. Newport is a 40-mile drive south, and Worcester is 35 miles north. RIPTA Bus Route 9X also runs along Route 44. It has direct stops at Smithfield's malls to the east or neighboring Glocester to the west. Greenville is a balanced community that pairs the benefits of rural space with the accessibility of suburban living, with its insulated retail and significant park infrastructure.
