A tradition of low buy-in
Valley Creek's eastern half begins at the entrance to Interstate 385 from Pleasantburg Drive. This extends westward along the highway, starting with a small assortment of low industrial and commercial spaces, then becoming an established residential area filled with midcentury red brick ranch-styles and bungalows. West of Fleming Street is the Arcadia Hills subdivision. These tree-shaded lanes of Craftsman-style new traditional homes with rear alleys for parking hit their stride in the early 2000s. Nowadays, buyers can find a whole host of single-family floorplans, attached townhouses and detached condos that all follow a similar style. Whether in a subdivision or not, prices remain fixed roughly between $200,000 and $300,000, although some new builds are slowly trickling in, slightly raising prices.
