Epitome of paradise
Paradise Hills sits at the base of the McCullough Mountains in southeast Henderson. The master-planned community is filled with 20 small neighborhoods and offers a blend of serene, suburban living and modern luxury just steps from the great outdoors. While providing luxury, custom-built homes, parks and high-ranking schools within walking distance, Paradise Hills is still only a few miles from historic downtown Henderson and the Las Vegas Strip. Its strategic location gives residents convenient access to top-notch entertainment, restaurants and nightlife while living away from the hustle and bustle.
“Being one of the first master-planned communities, they really did it right with beautiful landscaping and amenities, says Robert Morganti, Broker and Co-Owner of The Rob Morganti Group, who has worked in the Las Vegas area for over 25 years. “It has tennis courts and great parks, but school districts are what I get asked about the most. People are concerned about that, and there are top-notch public schools here.”
From quaint parks to hiking in the hills
A haven for outdoor enthusiasts, Paradise Hills is known for its well-maintained parks and easy access to a network of trails that wind through the McCullough Mountains. Hikers, mountain bikers, equestrians and off-roaders alike will find the thrilling adventures they seek with rugged desert trails that wind all the way to California. At the 60-acre Hidden Falls Park, residents can shred some pavement at its skatepark, play basketball, cool off in the summer at its splash pad or bring along furry friends. And because the park is set right against the Black Mountain hillside, those who want to dive deeper into nature can head to the park’s Amargosa Trailhead to trek five miles around the mountain and enjoy breathtaking views of the region. McCullough Vista is a cozy neighborhood park where residents can fire up the grill and enjoy a picnic in its open grass fields or let the kids play. At the neighboring 22-acre Mission Hills Park just over the eastern boundary, residents can play pickleball and tennis and get a workout in on one of its many multi-purpose fields. Sloan Canyon National Conservation Area is just over the southwestern boundary, which can be accessed via the McCullough Hills Trailhead. The 48,000-acre preserve encapsulates a network of hiking and biking trails, the vast North McCollough Wilderness and historic petroglyphs.

Paradise Hills residents have an array of options, from ranch-style homes, two-story Spanish-style homes and luxury estates in gated subdivisions - all with spacious lots and no homeowners’ association fees. Most homes were built in the early 2000s and range from $340,000 for a 1,400-square-foot home to over $3 million for a custom-built 7,000-square-foot contemporary mansion with lavish amenities like oasis-esque backyards, spas and garages that can hold up to eight cars and other recreational toys. Some of the most popular subdivisions are River Mountain, McCullough Hills and Palm Hills, which include access to a clubhouse, a pool and other recreational facilities. Most homes have pools, lush landscaping and picturesque views of the mountains. The tree-lined streets offer wide sidewalks for strolling through the neighborhood.
