Just to the south, the Hoover Mountain Bike Complex features 4 miles of mountain biking trails ranging from easy to moderate difficulty. The Blue Ridge Mountains that dominate the region also boast an additional 150 miles of hiking trails.

Homes with land, waterfront properties available

There are older Craftsman homes and newer ranch-style houses available. Properties are scattered throughout and typically come with 5 to 10 acres of land. There’s also a small number of waterfront homes along the New River, some of which feature private boat docks. Homes tend to sell for $180,000 to $300,000, though waterfront homes can cost more.
