Ross Bridge Historical Park is home to the Civil War-era bridge where the community gets its name. Hikers and cyclists can easily hop on the 2-mile out-and-back trail leading through lush woodlands. At the end of Grand Avenue is Renaissance Brimingham Ross Bridge Golf Resort & Spa. The Renaissance is a 259-room hotel with a luxury spa, restaurants and an 18-hole golf course with beautiful waterfalls and rolling greens. Hoover City Schools serves Ross Bridge's public school students. Students can attend Deer Valley Elementary and move on to Bumpus Middle, both of which received A-plus ratings from Niche. Hoover High School has an overall A-rating and a championship-winning football team that has graduated players for NFL teams like the Baltimore Ravens and the Indianapolis Colts. Hoover High's graduating students have collectively received over $45 million in college scholarships, owing to the school's stellar academic programming. There are also options for private schools, such as Spring Valley School, a preparatory school that teaches kindergarten through 12th grade and specializes in teaching students with mathematics or language-based learning differences such as dyslexia or dyscalculia.
