Spanish-inspired homes starting in the $200,000s
The neighborhood’s Spanish-inspired homes started being built around the early 2000s, and construction continues today. “They have everything from cookie-cutter houses to custom ones,” says Gamboa. “Whether you have a lower budget or can afford something for a million dollars, you’re going to have it all in the same area.” Properties feature three- to four-bedrooms, as well as attached garages and some backyard green space. Most homes sell for $200,000 to $400,000, while custom homes usually go for $500,000 to $900,000. Mission Ridge gets a CAP Index Score of 3 out of 10, which is just below the national average of 4.Computer Science, Engineering programs at Eastlake High

And 15 miles north, the Red Sands just outside the city offer 21 miles of sand dunes for all-terrain vehicles. “You can spend the whole day there,” says Gamboa. “People go out and have cookouts and drive off-road vehicles.”Art and Farmers Market, free movies, El Paso events
In the warmer months, the Shops at Horizon host the Horizon Art and Farmers Market, which offers local vendors, food trucks and live music. From June to September at Corcoran “Corky” Park, the city puts on free film screenings during Movies at the Park.
