Oak Lake
Oak Lake homes sport classic 1990s charm
The general Oak Lake area refers to a combination of several small communities, including Oak Lake Court, Oak Lake Estates, Village of Oak Lake and Hidden Lake Estates. Most homes across these communities were built in the 1990s, and Traditional and Georgian-inspired details like red brick facades, arched entryways and large dormer windows are prevalent throughout the area. Lot sizes range from 6,000 square feet to a full acre and are filled with manicured lawns, well-kept gardens and statuesque oak trees. “This is a highly sought-after address that’s becoming more modern every day," says Tamara Edwards, a Realtor at HomeSmart. "The available land makes for a lot of new homes still being built here, and that keeps pulling in new residents.” Oak Lake homes typically sell for between $300,000 to $500,000. The neighborhood has an overall CAP Index Crime Score of 2.Future artists learn at Stephen F. Austin High

As one of the largest nature parks in Houston, it is packed with hiking trails and wildlife habitats centered around White Lake.Authentic Italian awaits at Nick’s Restaurant
