Oak Lake, a small community with rows of established houses south of Four Corners and Mission Bend, is growing in popularity after its initial growth in the 1990s. The general Oak Lake area refers to a combination of several small communities, including Oak Lake Court, Oak Lake Estates, Village of Oak Lake and Hidden Lake Estates. Most homes across these communities were built in the 1990s, and Traditional and Georgian-inspired details like red brick facades, arched entryways and large dormer windows are prevalent throughout the area. Lot sizes range from 6,000 square feet to a full acre and are filled with manicured lawns, well-kept gardens and statuesque oak trees. “This is a highly sought-after address that’s becoming more modern every day," says Tamara Edwards, a Realtor at HomeSmart. Duhacsek Park is at the center of Oak Lake’s many subdivisions on Old Richmond Road. Jordan Schilleci, the owner of Jo & Co. Grand Parkway connects to Sugar Land and Houston
The Oak Lake area has become increasingly popular partly due to its easy access to the Grand Parkway. Both the Grand Parkway and South Texas 6, which runs on the area's eastern side, lead to Sugar Land, 6 miles away.
