Gospel Hill
Spacious, modern million-dollar homes and an active adult community
Gospel Hill hosts custom New Traditional, Colonial Revival and Craftsman-style homes built in the last few years, with a couple of homes dating back to the late 1990s. Homes are priced from $700,000 to $1.2 million, varying by square footage and lot size. Most of Gospel Hill’s streets are winding and shaded by tall trees, though clustered subdivisions have a more organized, suburban feel to them. McDonald says that since the land market is tight in Gospel Hill, “it’s already pretty much developed. There’s a new over-55 development designed by Toll Brothers selling in this area, too.” Enclave at Hudson is an active-adult community in the neighborhood, which has 64 single-family homes for buyers 55 and older. These homes start around $700,000 and feature open floor plans and tend to have one floor for easy accessibility.Ferjulian's Farm offers local produce, and Main Street for boutiques and breweries
Ferjulian’s Farm is a roadside market in the neighborhood that opens in the spring and summer, offering locally sourced fruits, veggies and herbs right from home. Hudson’s commercial center is just a couple miles west of the neighborhood. “It’s definitely a destination town,” says McDonald. “Main Street has a brewery and a lot of high-end restaurants, there's a speakeasy, boutique stores, all the services a potential buyer would be looking for.” Less Than Greater Than is the town’s speakeasy, accessible only by a hidden entrance. Five miles away is The Shops at Highland Commons, a strip mall featuring fast-casual eateries, a Cabela’s for outdoor gear and a Market Basket for groceries.Assabet River Rail Trail runs through town, and Fort Meadow Reservoir for recreation
Hikers and cyclists can reach the Assabet River Rail Trailhead within Gospel Hill and enjoy the 10-mile paved path that stretches from Hudson into neighboring Marlborough. Locals can also venture a couple of miles south to Fort Meadow Reservoir, where they can swim at spots like Memorial Beach, fish for bass and perch, or go kayaking.Several Hudson public schools are nearby
Hudson Public Schools serves Gospel Hill for education. Students can attend Mulready Elementary, with a C-plus rating on Niche, David J. Quinn Middle, with a B-minus, and Hudson High rated a B. The high school offers several postsecondary pathway programs in fields such as civic engagement, biomedicine, engineering and education.U.S. Route 20 leads to Boston in an hour
Commuters can take U.S. Route 20 just 29 miles east to Boston, taking about an hour, depending on traffic. Though there is no public transit in and out of Gospel Hill, MetroWest Regional Transit buses stop in downtown Hudson for townwide access. Due to the secluded environment, locals in the neighborhood are car-dependent, though biking around town is easy with the Assabet River Rail Trail.
