Del Webb Sun City offers extensive amenities. The heart of this development is the Prairie Lodge, a 94,000-square-foot clubhouse and community space. Golf enthusiasts can tee up one of the 18 holes in their backyards at Whisper Creek Golf Course.
Locals can enjoy the unique array of dishes nearby. Jameson’s Charhouse is the neighborhood steakhouse. Spend a date night or family outing chomping down on steak cuts or sandwiches. Brunch Café is a family-owned chain spot for that kind of cuisine. Sit down with the fam while savoring their unique pancakes, waffles, crepes or French toast flavors. More Brewing Company is another casual spot to grab some grub. Located southeast on Highway 47, try their craft cocktails and brews while eating Indian-inspired pub favorites. Weekly groceries can be grabbed along Highway 47 at Aldi and Jewel-Osco. Other everyday essentials can be grabbed at the Walmart Supercenter.
Northwestern Wellness Center is Sun City’s exclusive on-site health clinic. This site helps residents gage a healthy lifestyle and provides limited health services. Northwestern Medicine Huntley Hospital is to the neighborhood’s northeast, about 5 miles away. This hospital provides care with 15 specialty services. Interstate 90 runs east to west and sits just south of the neighborhood. Downtown Chicago is only 50 miles east on this route for an easy weekend trip. Have access to hundreds of destinations at O’Hare International Airport, which is located 38 miles east.
