Starting just southeast of Farley, the Tennessee River Greenway walking and biking path runs south to the waterway and north to Bell Mountain Park, another community space with athletic fields, a playground and its own walking trail. Highway 231 travels north to Downtown Huntsville, which offers restaurants, bars, museums and entertainment venues like the Von Braun Center and Mars Music Hall. Highway 72, or University Drive, leads to another commercial area with Walmart, Target and shopping malls like Bridge Street Towne Center. The town center has retail chains, boutique shops, a Cinemark Theater and restaurants like the high-end Connor's Steak and Seafood.
