A neighborhood next to a stunning state park in Hurricane, Utah
Sand Hollow Resort’s namesake is Sand Hollow State Park, where red sandstone cliffs rise over the sparkling blue waters of the Sand Hollow Reservoir. The community has a resort for tourists as well as quiet, suburban streets full of modern single-family homes. “There's so much to do for anyone wanting to vacation in the area — boat and play in the sand dunes. For the people that live here, it feels like you’re on vacation every single day,” says Joe Allen, principal broker and founder of Realty Absolute. The tranquil area lacks retail but is only 15 miles away from the city of St. George, which has a bustling downtown. In Sand Hollow Resort, residents can experience year-round recreation, exploring southern Utah’s landscapes and Zion National Park, which is only 30 miles away. Tourists are a reality with people traveling internationally to get to Zion, but the area retains its small-town feel without much congestion.

Many visitors cliff jump from the rocks and then swim in the reservoir. “There are ATV rentals, boat rentals and vacation rentals to stay in. The HOA, which applies to the Villas at Sand Hollow and TAVA Resort subdivisions, allows for access to Sand Hollow Golf Club. It has a public 18-hole golf course with panoramic views of Zion National Park, a 9-hole Links Course and a clubhouse.
