About Independence, OH

A city of industrial buildings between Cleveland and Akron

Independence, Ohio, a small city characterized by its industrial buildings and access to nature. "Independence is a lot of industry, says Realtor Patty Renaud for Russell Real Estate Services." "It's like halfway between Cleveland and Akron, so all the highways go into Independence. There are a ton of office buildings, but the city itself is small." With easy access to nearby cities via major highways and public transportation, residents enjoy the best of both worlds—small-town charm and urban convenience. From its scenic parks and homegrown dining scene, Independence has a lot to offer, making it a desirable place to call home.
