At 862 acres, Riverside Regional Park is Indianapolis's second-largest park, with an equally massive list of offerings. Driving into the park, locals are welcomed by wide-open green spaces dotted by trees. The Municipal Gardens Family Center hosts fitness classes and senior bingo. On its north end, the park offers an open-air cycling track, a BMX track and a skatepark. Beginning in 2017, the city allotted $11 million for additions to the park, including a regional aquatic center, athletic fields and an adventure park.
