Created by Flanner House Community Center, Cleo’s Bodega & Café was created to give residents access to healthier foods. It is divided into two sections: a grocery store and café. Produce is grown by Flanner House and other neighborhood gardens. The café serves coffee, smoothies, pastries and sandwiches. The popular Trap & Cheese sandwich is grilled cheese made with Chef Oya’s Trap Buttah. On Fridays, during lunchtime, patrons may listen to some jazz while drinking their smoothies.
Neighborhood is a few miles from downtown Indianapolis
Near Northwest Riverside is less than 5 miles away from downtown Indianapolis, the Indianapolis Motor Speedway and the Children’s Museum of Indianapolis, the world's largest children’s museum.
