Mixture of old and new close to the country club
Just south of the Las Colinas Country Club is the quiet neighborhood of Woodhaven-Irving. With a mixture of older and newer homes, the neighborhood is primarily residential with nearby schools and access to the rest of the Dallas-Fort Worth area. The neighborhood is a mixture of old and new, with the majority filled with homes built before 1980. The Las Colinas area represents some of the growth in the area. “Another area that’s growing over there is the Toyota Music Arena,” says Michael Oldham, who has been a team lead at eXp Realty for nine years. “Exxon Mobile, Kimberly-Clark headquarters are in that area.”

West with older homes, east with newer builds
The area is mostly filled with ranch-style and mid-century modern homes, with a few newer homes closer to the Las Colinas Country Club. Most of the neighborhood was built between the 1950s and 1970s, with ranch-style and mid-century homes lining the streets. These homes often have mature trees shading the homes and driveways. The older homes tend to have a little more yard space, in exchange for less square footage. Prices for ranch-style and mid-century modern homes range from $250,000 to $600,000. There are some newer homes built after 2000 in New Traditional and Spanish styles, with prices ranging from $440,000 to $890,000. These homes are larger, but have less yard space and tend to also be part of a homeowners association. Throughout both areas, sidewalks line the streets.
