There’s also a laser tag arena. Some special themed skate nights include skating to different kinds of music, including country and Christian tunes. If skating on ice is preferred, then Optimist Ice Arena has opportunities for open public skating, skating lessons and youth and adult hockey clubs. Ganson Street Park is just one block east of the neighborhood’s boundary along West Avenue, featuring a playground, walking paths and a green space within the small corner park across from the Ganson Street Baptist Church. Further south is Cascade Falls, a man-made waterfall that has an accompanying light show Wednesday through Sunday nights in the summer. It’s part of Sparks Foundation County Park.
