The Jacksonville Transportation Authority operates buses that shuttle across Atlantic Highway and McCormick Road. The Mayport Express runs to the Mayport Naval Station about 9 miles northeast. Beaches, like Neptune Beach and Atlantic Beach, are about 8 miles east on the Atlantic Highway. Interstate 95 is accessible in downtown Jacksonville, 12 miles west. East Arlington is home to Jacksonville Executive at Craig Airport (JAXEX). Communities surrounding the airport are subject to aviation noise and residents can submit noise impact comments via the airport's website.
