Along Goodby's Creek, locally loved restaurants like Stonewood Grill and Tavern and 1928 Cuban Bistro draw locals and visitors to the area. Brennan notes that Wicked Barley Brewing Company is the local go-to. "It's one of the most popular places to go on the southside," Brennan says. "You can pull up on your boat and dock at the brewery. It gets pretty busy, especially on the weekends." Goodby's Creek's position along San Jose Boulevard connects residents to Interstate 295 and I-95. Downtown is 12 miles from the community, and Northside is 20 miles away. The JTA has bus stops on major roads, including San Jose Boulevard and Baymeadows Road. The closest hospital is HCA Florida Memorial Hospital, 7 miles from the neighborhood, and the Jacksonville International Airport is 27 miles away.
