Local entertainment destinations and attractions
“What sets Regency apart is its easy access to major entertainment and shopping. It’s also in a very centralized area, where you can get to places in downtown and the beach,” says William E Ramos, the owner and broker of Integrity Key Realty LLC. The Jacksonville Arboretum & Botanical Gardens hosts community events throughout the year, like Dazzling Nights Jacksonville during the winter holidays. The neighborhood movie theater, AMC Regency 24, provides an on-site bar and in-movie dining experience. There is a Surge Adventure Park in the Regency Court shopping mall. The casino, bestbet Jacksonville, holds tournaments year-round; the Regency Square Branch Library is located behind the casino.

Home types and pricing in Regency
Most properties in Regency are commercial buildings, office spaces and apartment complexes. There are more renters than homeowners here, but many housing options are available. Detached homes on the market are New Traditional houses from the late 1990s to the 2010s. There are also several townhomes and condominiums dating from the 1970s to the 2020s. The most recent are inside the Deer Run and Enclave at Mill Creek North Townhomes subdivisions.
Ramos says that the community’s home prices are often lower than the rest of the Jacksonville metro area. The neighborhood has a median sale price in the upper $200,000s, which is similar to nearby communities like Atlantic Boulevard Estates, but lower than East Arlington. Single-family houses sell from the lower $300,000s to the mid $400,000s. Attached units cost from the lower $100,000s to the lower $300,000s.

Sunny Acres Park, on the opposite side of Merrill Road, has a basketball court and a fishing pier on a small lake.
