True to its name, the neighborhood features a wooded setting. Mature trees surround established homes on oversized lots, several of which offer an acre or more. The extra space provides a calm, quiet residential environment. The homes offer at least 1,500 square feet of interior space, with the largest exceeding 3,000 square feet. Prices typically range from $200,000 to $300,000, though additional land adds to the cost. Given how small the neighborhood is, homes don’t often go on the market.

There’s also a Dollar General on Dan Avenue. A Walmart Supercenter is located about 6 miles away along the Interstate 555 bypass, which can be accessed just west of the neighborhood.

Multi-purpose fields, baseball diamonds at Joe Mack Campbell Sports Complex
Residents are within 2 miles of one of Jonesboro’s premier parks. The Joe Mack Campbell Sports Complex, also on Dan Avenue, features 19 multi-purpose fields and 10 youth baseball diamonds. Other amenities include four large diamonds, tennis courts and a walking track. Boaters and anglers can take advantage of the recreational opportunities at Lake Frierson State Park about 10 miles north.

Dan Avenue provides access to downtown Jonesboro and its thriving business and entertainment district about 6 miles away. NEA Baptist Memorial Hospital is about 9 miles away. The I-555 bypass runs south of downtown and eventually turns into Interstate 55, which connects directly to Memphis about 75 miles from the neighborhood. Memphis International is the closest commercial airport.
