In Jupiter Dunes, good food, sun and outdoor fun are a way of life. This community, wedged between the Atlantic Ocean and the Intracoastal Waterway, offers plenty for residents to do in their free time and plenty of expansive homes for them to return to afterward. This area is like an island of its own, yet it's still closely connected to the rest of Jupiter. “That area, it’s a little gem in Jupiter,” says local Realtor Mark Hermann of eXp Realty. “You’re walking distance to everything there.”
From DuBois to Jupiter Ridge, there’s no shortage of recreation opportunities
Hermann, a lifelong resident of the region, says that many in Jupiter Dunes are within walking distance of the Jupiter Inlet, a strip of water between the ocean and the Loxahatchee River. Locals can enjoy the view or toss a line in the inlet waters at places like Jupiter Beach Park. Jupiter Beach is adjacent to DuBois Park and together the two parks form a shallow lagoon fed by a sliver of the Loxahatchee River, complete with a public swimming area. This community also offers the Jupiter Ridge Natural Area for hikers, a 271-acre behemoth with multiple trails. People can take a break from the beach to tackle the Jupiter Dunes Golf Course, too — an 18-hole par 3 course.

Come to Carlin Park for community engagement
Jupiter Dunes’ 120-acre Carlin Park is a magnet for community programming, thanks partly to its Seabreeze Amphitheater, a bandstand that can host everything from concerts to movies. The amphitheater is home to Carlin Park After Dark, a periodic free concert series. The annual Jupiter Seafood Festival happens here in February, too, a two-day extravaganza loaded with food and live music.
