Manatee sightings are rare, but they are native to the area and protected by federal and state governments. Route 1 to the beach or Palm Tran to Palm Beach Gardens
Several main roads run through Jupiter River. Florida’s Turnpike and Interstate 95 run parallel to each other near here and are 2 miles away. Route 1 from the neighborhood leads directly to nearby beaches and the beaches of greater Palm Beach. The PalmTran, run by the county government, connects Jupiter River to the rest of the area via the Route 10 bus.
Increased flood risk in the neighborhood
