Increased flood risk in the neighborhood
Because of its proximity to waterways, many homes in Jupiter River are in FEMA flood zones. The local government recommends obtaining flood insurance. The nearest hospital is the Jupiter Medical Center, about 2 miles away.Route 1 to the beach or Palm Tran to Palm Beach Gardens
Several main roads run through Jupiter River. Florida’s Turnpike and Interstate 95 run parallel to each other near here and are 2 miles away. Route 1 from the neighborhood leads directly to nearby beaches and the beaches of greater Palm Beach. The PalmTran, run by the county government, connects Jupiter River to the rest of the area via the Route 10 bus.Home Depot in the neighborhood
Publix and Walmart are just outside the neighborhood on Indiantown Road. A Home Depot is within the neighborhood for home improvement needs, and the Goodwill Super Store offers secondhand finds alongside a donation center. Maplewood Bagel Market, one of dozens of small businesses in the area, is a casual stop for breakfast sandwiches and early-morning baked goods. Brass Ring Pub has acclaimed burgers and wings and a daily happy hour.
