Colonial Revival homes are priced between $485,000 and $595,000, while Queen Anne Victorian homes range from $532,000 to nearly $5 million. American Four Square homes start at $225,000, and Tudor Revival homes are around $249,900. Midcentury modern homes are priced at approximately $261,000, and Cape Cod homes are about $295,000. A May 2023 report from the Michigan Department of Human Services confirmed hazardous air quality in parts of Kalamazoo. High levels of hydrogen sulfide gas were found around the Graphic Packaging International paper mill and the city’s wastewater treatment plant, posing long-term health risks to residents, especially children.
